Patient Info
Appointments
Patients are seen daily on an appointment only basis. Please call our office during regular office hours to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted. Please keep in mind that patient emergencies do occur. We make every attempt to have you be seen at your scheduled appointment time but unexpected delays can occur. We appreciate your patience.Prescription Refills
If your prescription has expired then most likely you are due for an office visit. We will only renew prescriptions if a patient has been seen for that medical condition within the past six months and make appropriate blood work done. If the patient has not had an office visit in that period of time then an office visit will need to be scheduled in order to validate the need for the medication. We are sorry but we cannot call in prescriptions for a patient after the office visit nor are we able to fax the prescription to the pharmacy or mail order companies. After Hours/Emergencies
For life threatening emergencies call "911" or proceed to the nearest emergency department. Please call our office number (703) 255-6010 for urgent after-hours medical concerns. Once you reach the prompts, choose the emergency message option (2) and leave your message along with your telephone number on call. If you have not received a return phone call within 30 minutes then call the 7-255-6010 again and have the doctor re-paged. Prescriptions and prescription refills will be addressed during regular business hours only and will not be addressed by the answering service.Cancellation Policy
Your appointment reserves a specific time for you. If you are not able to make the appointment you need to contact our office 24 hours in advance. After that time a fee will be assessed to your account. If you have an early morning appointment and need to cancel, please call the answering service and leave the message on the office voice mail. A cancelled regular or urgent appointment constitutes a $25 fee and a well woman examination or physical examination results in a $50 cancellation fee.Referrals
For those plans requiring referrals to specialty physicians, you must first receive authorization from your provider who is your designated primary care provider (PCP). To request a referral, please call the office at (703) 255-6010. If you have not been seen by your PCP within the past six months for the condition necessitating the referral, you will need to schedule an office visit prior to receiving the referral. We need at least 72 hours prior to your appointment to complete the referral process.Inclement Weather
